The Canadian Health Leadership Network is collaborating with Royal Roads University on a three-year national research project that will investigate leadership in action and put into practice new and better ways to develop and sustain health care leaders at all stages of their career. In addition, universities and decision makers from five regions in Canada are co-applicants in this project.
On March 31, 2010, the Canadian Institute for Health Research (CIHR) approved a Partnerships in Health Systems Improvement grant application from the above mentioned network partners. CIHR has provided a $450,000 grant ($350,000 from CIHR and $100,000 from the Michael Smith Research Foundation in BC) as part of a $850,000 total budget for this project.
Individuals who are interested in learning more about the project, or who might be interested in participating in the research, are asked to contact Bill Tholl, the CHLNet co-applicant or Graham Dickson, Principal Investigator.
